| Employees at the supermarket are in charge of watering the plants. The truth is that they are in charge of doing a great many things. Although these people may like plants, they don’t have the time or knowledge to do anything more than treat all of plants the same. If today is Monday and the time is 4PM every plant gets watered. Over watering, under watering, diseases, mold, fungus, and insects go unrecognized until some unsuspecting customer like you buys the plant or the plant just dies. At least at a flower shop, greenhouse, or nursery the owner is on the lookout for plant problems; because inventory that become unsellable affects his or her bottom line.
