| This final paragraph on watering is my confession. I’m asking you to do as I say rather than as I do in many instances. We are all busy, and taking care of our plants may be fun but not necessarily our number one priority. There are many times I water my plants at night because I don’t have time during the day. I never check the temperature of the water always guessing that it’s just about right. Drip saucers may not get emptied if I’m in a rush. When I go on vacation I often fill the drip saucer with water and let the plant get moisture from the bottom rather than the top. However, I always know what I should be doing; and on those rare days when I find the time, I try to water correctly. I know my plants appreciate the effort. Next Section: Temperature |
