| Porous containers allow a plant to dry out much faster than nonporous containers since water can evaporate through the sides and bottom of the pot. So, if a plant is in a terra cotta or clay pot it will dry out faster than if the same plant is in a plastic or ceramic container. Next Section: What Kind Of Soil? |
